At-Home Veterinary Services
Medical Acupuncture
In addition to her veterinary training, Dr. Pincetl received education in acupuncture and is certified through CuraCore Veterinary Academy. This is a science-focused program and the course curriculum is centered around an evidence-based approach.
Medical acupuncture is a minimally invasive and low-risk therapy used to treat a wide variety of ailments. Dr. Pincetl most frequently uses this modality on aging pets and those with musculoskeletal pain or injury. It is especially useful in helping to improve the quality of life in animals that are having break-through discomfort while being treated for arthritis.
Wellness Appointments
Virtually all wellness services can be performed in the comfort of your home. We have the ability to perform annual exams, administer vaccines, and perform lab work. Puppy and kitten visits are some of our favorite appointments!
Illness & Injury
We treat many common ailments of dogs and cats. Some injuries illnesses that we regularly treat include:
Cough
Ear infections
Minor GI upset, diarrhea
Conjunctivitis or other minor eye conditions
Itchy skin and rashes
Limping (may have to follow-up with x-rays at a clinic location)
Minor lacerations or triage for bite wounds and other injuries (to determine if they will need to be surgically repaired at clinic location)
Urinary tract/bladder infections
Dental exam (NOT cleaning or other prophylaxis)
At-home care is also an excellent option for animals that need more chronic medical attention. This includes cats with kidney disease requiring fluid therapy or regular blood work, animals requiring frequent bandage changes, and wound care. This helps avoid repeatedly exposing animals to the stress of transport and clinic visits
